James Dewar was one of the greatest voices ever. Jack Bruce could not get even close on BLT.

I compare all bluegrass to this record. This song especially. Every solo kills . The melding of world class musicians picking. The feel is so special. The fun and excitement mows you down and floats you into the song so you feel like they are playing for you personally. I have never heard another banjo rhythmic solo like the one Jerry gives on this song. All the instruments shine through sending this song to the very top of my favorites. As fun and fresh today June 19 2024 as it was in 1975 49 years ago. The intertwined fiddle mandolin and banjo and the solid bass with the sweet heartfelt vocals and With so so much rhythm and soul this track still brings a tear of joy. I'm old and in the way now. In a comforting way. My time is short so I'm trying to fill it with sounds that soothe my soul. fair the well😊

Stumbled upon this gem this morning. Memories and tears at how good this is front to back. Playing this in my bedroom as a teenager. Saw him with Jimmy at the International Amphitheatre in Chicago in the 70's. This brought me back to that time. Thanks for posting!

I saw this group perform in 1971 or possibly 1973?? Just found it online after trying to locate it for the past 10 or 15 years online. I thought the group name was "Black Cadillac" ?? It was in Wisconsin where I saw them perform before Mountain I think.
